Immigration Process

The stages given below are to serve as a guideline for you to understand how we process immigration applications. Though all the points mentioned may not be applicable to your individual case, we have tried to provide a general picture of the whole proceedings.

Stages in Immigration Process

Stage 1

The procedure starts with meetings with the client which could be teleconferences, interviews etc. to review all the aspects concerning the client. Review is done in the following areas -

Resume or profile of the business which the client is engaged in.
Family background of client in relation to dependency, ages of family members etc.
Identification documents of client and validity of the same.
Qualifications review. Skill assessment may be required to advise client on his standing in the Labour Market.
Passport and visa details like validity, eligibility, status etc. will be assessed.

After all the reviewing is completed, the client is briefed on the findings and how his visa will have to be processed. At the end of stage 1, our consultants will be in a position to determine the strength of your application and whether it is advisable to go ahead with the formalities.

Stage 2

Once all the reviews are favourably cleared, the next stage involves getting all paperwork in place. Various forms and declarations which are required are filled out, and the client is also asked for any further documents that will be required..

The client is also required to go through a medical examination and also examinations in English. Labour Market testing and also advertising in the Labour Market are looked into.

Attested copies of the relevant documents are sent to the various authorities and all the documents are reviewed and the final step in this stage is lodgement of the application submission.

Stage 3

Once the application submission lodgement is completed, company will communicate regularly with the Immigration Department for the latest status of the visa. Any additional documents or evidence required by the Department is communicated to the client. The client is also constantly kept posted on the current status of the entire procedure.

Once all relevant documents are submitted, the client is notified of the final decision of the Immigration Department. If the application is accepted, then the client is assisted with Visa processing. The client is notified on the date of the interview for the visa application. Once the interview is cleared, any other assistance before departing is completed.

Migration Agents

In order to protect prospective migrants from dealing with unscrupulous agents, the Migration Agents Registration Authority has been established. The purpose of the Authority is to ensure that only people of good character who have sound knowledge of the migration procedures are registered as migration agents. There is a requirement for Migration Agents to keep abreast of developments in migration law and migration procedures in order to qualify for re-registration.
